Farmers’ markets finished, but still two more places to find us

Last Saturday, we wrapped up the final Old Chelsea market for the season. Thanks to all the people who became our “regulars” this year! It was a pleasure to provide you with good food.

We still have two more markets planned for 2014. One is this Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Wakefield Community Centre – an event called Climate Change Challenges and Solutions. We’ll be there selling some low carbon food and chatting people up about the concept of carbon farming. https://www.facebook.com/gatineauclimatesolutions

The second market is the Wakefield Christmas Market, to be held December 13, outside the Alpengruss. Last year, it’s first year, we braved -20 degree temperatures, but many people still came out and it was a lot of fun. This year, it’ll likely be not as cold and can only be better. http://www.noelwakefieldmarket.com/home.html

And of course our farm stand is still open until the food in it starts to freeze – Fridays 9-5, and Saturdays and Sundays 10 – 5.
