Our granola is featured in the 2015 edition of Ottawa Magazine’s Eating and Drinking edition, in their section on small batch finds. Turns out we’re part of something called the “small batch movement”, a group of “passionate artisans…crafting food with care.” Who knew? Our friends at Juniper Farm are in there too for their beet sauerkraut, as well as our neighbours at Alska Farm for their maple butter and Le Coprin for their nameko mushrooms. Reading through the list makes me want to spend a couple days searching them out and trying them all!
You can read what Ottawa Magazine has to say about our granola below, but first a few new developments since they went to press:
- We’re now making a version of our granola with our maple syrup, and it’s getting rave reviews.
- We’ve got a new label – click here to see it.
- You can buy it at a growing list of stores: The Table and Savour Ottawa Online in Ottawa, La Forêt in Wakefield, or the La Pêche General Store in Lascelles. And of course you can always get it direct from us at our farm stand or the Wakefield Farmers’ Market.
