Maple Butter

Don’t be deceived by the name – there is no dairy in maple butter. Instead, syrup is boiled down, rapidly cooled, then stirred to create a spreadable consistency. It’s basically the concentrated essence of maple, and it is delectable on toast, or as an icing for cakes. Try to resist simply spooning it out of the jar.
