‘Tis the season for Christmas markets, and we’ve got a few lined up.
First up is the École Trilles des bois fair. Lots of fun activities for kids, and great Waldorf-inspired gifts. 140 rue Genest, Vanier. Dec. 4, 10am – 2pm.
Then later that day is the Dominion City Brewery Christmas Night market, with cool food and craft vendors from around Ottawa. 15-5510 Canotek Rd., Ottawa. 3pm – 8pm
The next weekend is the Wakefield Christmas Market, a European-style outdoor market with bonfires and warm drinks. At the Wakefield La Pêche Community Centre. Dec. 10, 2pm – 7pm.
Wrapping it up the next day will be the Marché de l’Outaouais Christmas Market, where you can stock up on great food from local farms for the holidays. At the Tétreau community Centre at 361 boulevard de Lucerne, next to Moussette Park. Dec 11, 10am – 5pm.
