All of our herbs are dried whole, with no heat or light, to preserve the essential oils that give our herbal teas their unique aromas and flavours. Most of our herbs are wild (unless indicated) and harvested sustainably from our forests, fields, and neighbouring land.
Rosée des bois
Wild rose petals, tender spring spruce tips and earthy red raspberry leaves makes this delicate tea ideal for drinking at any time of the day or night. The spruce tips have a lemon flavour, while the rose petals add a gentle floral flavour. The red raspberry leaves, long known as a tonic for women, balances the flavours of the tea.
Forest Mix
Drinking this invigorating tea is like taking a walk in the forest: refreshing, crisp…a breath of fresh air. The cedar has a citrus taste, with the wintergreen adding a refreshing minty punch. The red clover blossoms round off the mix with a light, sweet note.
Garden Mix
Did you say mint? This mix was harvested from our gardens, and mixes the healing properties of calendula with the beloved mint and the understated sage. Together, they make a powerfully energizing elixer.
Nettle
Rich in iron, calcium, potassium, and other essential nutrients, this herb is a powerhouse. It’s often used as a gentle detox, and is ideal to energize and combat fatigue. It’s often drunk during pregnancy and after birth to help the body restore, revitalize and re-mineralize.
We may be able to offer some of the above herbs individually, and in bulk quantities. On demand, we can harvest the following wild herbs: sweet gale, yarrow, wild catnip, pine needles, or other special requests. We love a good foraging challenge, so contact us if you’re looking for a plant that’s not on this list.
